At long last, Sho and I scheduled a time to shoot! We first shot together about three years ago when I was just starting to break out of my comfort zone of shooting family and very close friends. The success of the photos from that shoot really motivated me to keep working at my craft.
Last weekend, Sho and I teamed up again to take another set of incredible photos. This time we headed to one of my favorite spots, the church by Lake Merritt, to take some portraits during golden hour. The shots turned out incredible! I again tried a lot of wider angle portraits, showing off how long her legs are and giving the photos a quirkier vibe. I am really loving the bluish tone from the light bouncing off the grey concrete, and the backlit photos at the end of the set GIVE ME LIFE. I am so happy with how these turned out, and we even discussed a future project so you look forward to that in the future!
